When I first saw the picture for this recipe on food52 I immediately knew that this would be next. The recipe calls for large chocolate chips which caught my attention most (next to the silpat in the photos). So I decided to try making them with some regular leftover chocolate chips which I had brought back from the states from my last visit. I reckon they are quite a treat when made with the XL sized chips and will definitely have to try it and incorporate macadamia nuts too.

My recent discovery of the awesome blog Kraut|Kopf by the berlin based photographer couple Susann and Yannic, has robbed me of a few hours just reading it all up a few weeks ago. Their combination of incredible photographs and their philosophy of trying to eat more consciously — may that be completely vegan, without gluten or lactose free — makes their website easy to get lost in.
